The Patrons must believe an elf
Restores their reading to the shelf: They leave the books most everywhere, Except in the locations where They picked them up. They don't put back Their books: the Page must take the slack. It's just as well: while Stanfordites Well know how to track down the sites Of every book they're lusting for, Thereafter, they forget this lore, And wantonly, without a care, May well reshelve them anywhere, Regardless where they got them from -- But Pages do okay: in sum, If we would know where each book goes, We can't trust Patrons, Heaven knows! |
