I am happy to announce that retroactive to mid-September Debbie Molina of the Swain Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Library has been reclassified to the position of Computer Resource Associate in SERG. This action recognizes the extraordinary job Debbie has been doing this year maintaining Swain's local server and supporting client and server products needed by the chemistry community. It also addresses the increasing need for this type of support throughout SERG.
In her new job Debbie will spent half of her time providing public and staff workstations and server support to SERG, assist the Systems Office in trouble shooting and correcting networking problems within SERG, and assist in coordinating the SERG Expert Partners program. In the other 50% of her position Debbie will be responsible for being the Expert Partner in Swain as well as assisting the Swain Bibliographer in the creation and design of web-based instructional and research aids including the training and supervision of student workers in doing html conversion for user aids. Congratulations Debbie!
