Monday, November 11th marks the beginning of Web Week at Stanford. Through the combined efforts of Information Technology Systems and Services, Stanford Libraries, and Residential Computing, Web Week brings information and education on the Web, free of charge, to the Stanford Community.
Never used the Web? Check out the Using Netscape and Searching With Netscape tutorials. Are you an avid surfer who wants to put your own homepage out there in cyberspace? Attend one of the several Beginning HTML Classes offered and you will be on you way. And hey... if you already have a great page up, enter the Best of Web Week Contest and show off your page to the world. Webmasters - drop by one of our Roundtable discussion groups and here what your peers are thinking about. Web Week is a chance for you to learn more about the Web and the Stanford resources available to you here on campus.
The final schedule is still being finalized. Look for the Web Week graphic on the Stanford Home Page beginning next week which will link you to the all the details about what's being offered, when and where they will be offered, and how to register.

Stanford Acquisition Support (SAS) is pleased to announce the first annual CWA (Campus Wide Agreements) Office Supplies Product Show with BT Office Products International:
Learn useful information about how to order these products through Campus Wide Agreements and BT Office Products. Over 20 suppliers will be there to discuss the latest innovations and to answer questions on how to obtain the most from your favorite products.
The manufacturers at the CWA show supply the official CWA vendor BT Office Products with over 10,000 quality office supply items. BT and their suppliers want to be sure they are meeting your needs and that you are aware of all that is available to you. This show is just one way of doing that.
Please join your colleagues, BT Office Products and their suppliers, and Stanford Acquisition Support (SAS) on November 4. There will be demonstrations, food, door prizes, and plenty of samples.
