Two by Four : and other poems is
a poetry collection by Brian Kunde, published as a chapbook by Fleabonnet Press in
December, 1996. Some of its poems were previously published from 1992-1995 in the Stanford
University Libraries' electronic newsletter SUL News Notes and
College & Research Library News. This Internet sampler comprises
the table of contents of the chapbook and the poems previously published, essentially
constituting an abridged edition of the chapbook.
An earlier version of this work, predating the print version, was previously posted on the Internet in Dec. 1995-Jan. 1996 under the title The Fleabonnet Poetry Collection. That version included two poems, “Summer Break” and “Paper Pushers,” not in the chapbook. The second Internet edition, revised in accordance with the first print edition, omitted the extra poems (though both were included in later chapbooks; “Paper Pushers” in A Dancing Floor for Butterflies (1999), and “Summer Break” in Adrift in the Wreckage (2011)). Since then two additional print editions have appeared, incorporating more poems and substantially altering the text of those already included. This third Internet edition has been revised in accordance with the second and third print editions, and adds from them three poems previously published in SUL News Notes that had not been included in the first print edition. All pieces in this collection are copyrighted by the author. All rights reserved, including the right to reproduce this sampler, its constituent documents, or portions thereof in any form.
