About Me

I am a third year Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering department at Stanford University.

I am thrilled to have Andrea Montanari as my advisor and Balaji Prabhakar as my co-advisor.

Before joining Stanford in 2009, I received B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology.

Research Interests

My core research interests are:

• High dimensional statistics

• Machine learning: learning theory, statistical inference, reinforcement learning

• Iterative algorithms, Coding theory

• Network algorithms, Dynamical systems and Control theory
