As you may have noticed while navigating through our site, we have
attempted to give
you the most up-to-date information available regarding the Rabies and
Vesicular Stomatitis Viruses. Here we will summarize the most poignant
errors found in past Humans and Viruses sites on the Family
Rhabdoviridae.
1. Rabies is NOT 100% fatal; there have been rare cases in which people
have actually survived.
2. Rabies is NOT the only human disease that can be treated by a
post-exposure vaccination. Post-exposure vaccinations may also be
used for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, VZV.
