Sue Dalton

Sue notes that she has always been very interested in wildlife, especially birds. Raptors are her passion, especially peregrine falcons. Sue can be reached via sdalton@intevac.com.

Leucistic birds may at first appear to be albinos, but leucism is the absence of all types of pigmentation, not just melanin.

The eyes of leucistic individuals are normally-colored eyes, those of albinos ar red, the result of underlying blood vessels.
