This animation is part of a project where I simulated evolution with a group of kids for an hour, getting around 100 or so creatures and then animating it, setting it to music and sprinkling their “animal noises” throughout. I hoped that they could learn evolution by “living it” in a fun, nontraditional way, and that I might perhaps inspire a future scientist (or artist!) to follow their passion later in life by creating a memorable experience.
