Youth Creativity, Innovation & Sustainable Leadership Program
with Wuhan University of Technology
A workshop to explore the creative universe of young students for the benefit of sustainability. Organized in collaboration with the Goldmine Foundation.

A group of students from Wuhan University of Technology in China visited CSDGC for a Youth Creativity, Innovation and Sustainable Leadership workshop. The YCISL workshop introduced topics that link creativity, emotional intelligence and mindset with a simple innovation framework to obtain life lessons in leadership.
Key elements of the workshop included:
- Conversations on the topics of problem-solving, idea development and emotional intelligence.
- Exploration of self-awareness, gratitude and motivation to develop one's own personal story and brand identity.
- Project work to demonstrate the process of innovation and develop leadership insights.
- Drills to strengthen positivity, fast-thinking and youthful creativity.
- Visits to Windhover Contemplation Center, Hoover Tower, Central Energy Facility, Room 36 Product Realization Lab, and the Cantor Arts Center.
- Visit hosted by Jessica Gonzales to Stanford Farm.
- Conversation with Glenn Katz about Sustainability by Design.
- Conversation with Pasha Nahass and Elaine Tai about their personal stories and individual paths to Google as Product Managers.
- Conversation with Jen Wang about Changing Human Behavior.
- Conversation with Tammi Feng about Negotiation.
- Conversations with CEE Faculty Lynn Hildemann (CEE Department Chair) and Jim Leckie (CSDGC Faculty Director).
- Conversation with Eloi Laurent about Well-Being Indicators.
- Mentoring by CSDGC interns.
