Keynote Address in IB CAS (Creativity, Activity & Service) Fair Turkey hosted by MEF International Schools
A presentation to event attendees on the application of positivity to IB CAS projects.

A keynote presentation was given at the IB CAS Fair Turkey 2021 hosted by MEF Okullari in Turkey. The event focused on the topic of "Experiencing New Normals in our CAS Journey."
The program was organized by a student committee, and attended by about 100 IB students, teachers and school administrators from various locations in Turkey.
The keynote presentation featured:
- An overview of the YCISL program including on-campus and online activities
- Showing of the YCISL "Reflecting on Creativity" card
- A Positivity Reflection Thought Exercise
- The idea that positivity is hard work, whereas negativity is an easy pitfall
- The application of big-impact small-overhead details and intrinsic motivation to sustain positivity via design thinking and storytelling
- Recommendations on no-cost sources of positivity
- Examples of Daily Gratitude Practice and Therapy Dogs as positivity strategies
