Faculty Grants
The Center awards one or more research grants each year to support Stanford University faculty carrying out research on poverty and inequality. The grants are small (up to $5,000) and are intended as start-up funds to assist in the development of grant proposals and new and innovative research programs.
Eligibility
Awards are made to Stanford University faculty who are affiliates of the Center for the Study of Poverty and Inequality and hold academic council appointments.
Award Amount
Awards of up to $5,000 will be made.
Expenses
The grant may be used to cover any research-relevant expenses.
Applications
Applicants should submit a CV, a short proposal (no more than a page), and a budget. These materials should be sent to the Administrative Associate:

Deadline
Applications should be submitted by April 1. Funding can begin in the summer.
