Mellon Foundation Fellowship Program

The Center supported an active program of visitors to Stanford University in 2007-08 in large part through the generous funding of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

In 2007-08, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation supported a Sawyer Seminar at Stanford University titled "The Dynamics of Inequality", a seminar that explored recent dramatic changes in the structure and amount of social inequality. The Mellon Foundation supported a postdoctoral fellow and several predoctoral fellows in 2007-08 to participate in the year-long faculty seminar on social inequality.
