Salsa Work­shops

Every salsa social starts with a begin­ner work­shop, so don’t be afraid to come try danc­ing, even if you’ve never danced before or don’t have a part­ner. Every­one gets to dance and learn some cool moves!

Begin­ner Lesson

Our begin­ner les­son focuses on salsa from the absolute basics. Learn salsa rhythm, basic steps, part­ner­ing tech­niques, turns and other fun moved in a friendly, social envi­ron­ment. Every­one comes to salsa with a dif­fer­ence dance expe­ri­ence, so give it a try.

Inter­me­di­ate Lesson

For those who already have a good foun­da­tion in basic salsa but want to learn more chal­leng­ing com­bi­na­tions for use on the social dance floor. A great class if you want to learn some impres­sive new moves! Rec­om­mended: cross body lead, some pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence with combinations.

Pat­terns from lessons

We keep a video record of pat­terns we teach in work­shops so that we can post them online for your view­ing plea­sure. That way you can prac­tice in the com­fort of your own place before you own them at a salsa par­ties (prefer­ably ours). Check those videos out here. Here’s a sample:
