Los Salseros de Stanford

You ever been sit­ting, lis­ten­ing to one of your favorite Salsa tunes, and imag­ined that you were there? (Where? Where ever!). This Sat­ur­day, Feb. 19^th from 9:30–12:30 (lessons at 8:30), YOU CAN BE.

This Sat­ur­day will be a LIVE MUSIC salsa social @ the Old Union Ball­room. We’re team­ing up with the Stan­ford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensem­ble to bring you the fresh­est, groo­vist live salsa this side of Palm Drive.

So brush off your danc­ing shoes, warm up your legs, and bring an extra piece of your most dance-durable cloth­ing, ’cause when­ever the music is live, things tend to get hot!

– The Stan­ford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensem­ble will be play­ing the social!
– Begin­ner On2 les­son starts half an hour early: 8.30pm-9.30pm
– Social danc­ing from 9.30pm-12.30am
– Old Union Club­house Ball­room
– the DJed ses­sions between SALJE’s sets shall be ‘Speed Salsa Ses­sions’ where every song shall be faded out after 2–2.5 min­utes of play. This is to max­i­mize part­ner switch­ing and num­ber of dances.
