The Paralympics
The 1996 Paralympic Games and the Third Paralympic Congress in Atlanta, August 1996, greatly increased awareness of the athletic excellence achieved by athletes with disabilities and the ability of people with disabilities to participate in recreation and leisure activities.

The presentation
Tools for Play is a multimedia program that was presented at the Opening Session of the Paralympic Congress. It emphasizes the importance of recreation and leisure activity for everyone and the ability of people with disabilities to participate.

The technologies
The program's main focus is on the technology or equipment that makes it possible to enjoy a variety of activities, from swimming, walking, and running, to skydiving and bungy jumping.
