Strategy 2. Utilize established information
channels.
If you select this strategy, you are deciding that transfer can be
accomplished effectively by one or more of the following types of
activities:
- published articles in recognized journals
- conference presentations, including poster presentations
- walk-through traffic and word of mouth about the Center
- periodic reports and bulletins issued by the Center
- announcements or targeted mailings to special constituencies
- open-house sessions arranged by the Center for potential
manufacturers
- evaluation efforts underwritten by the VA
This strategy assumes that you do not know the most likely users or a
potential manufacturer and that transfer may be best accomplished through
simultaneous access by the entire research community.
