Shannon McClintock, Co-President
Shannon is a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering and English Creative Writing. She is also very passionate about Performing Arts, has played piano for thirteen years and is continuing lessons at Stanford. She grew up in San Diego, CA where she was very involved in community service through the Interact Club, Key Club, and her work at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a local Piano Camp, and her local library. She is especially interested in promoting education and has worked with Discovery Communications for the past four years to reach out to students in the community and globally. After meeting and keeping in contact with a friend from South Africa, she is working to start a mentoring and cultural exchange program between Stanford students and international students. She also love soccer and running, and spends much of her free time reading and writing. She currently is a resident of Lantana in Manzanita Hall. Shannon plans to attend graduate school for Engineering, Criminal Law, or English after graduation and always strives to follow “Service above Self.”
Elena Fuetsch, Co-President (International Service)
Elena is a senior majoring in International Relations, and minoring in both Economics and French at Stanford University. She is originally from Reno, NV, but has enjoyed traveling and living in France, Guatemala, and even a short time in Russia thanks in part to Rotary International for a Youth Exchange to France after high school. She loves creating art and objects, outdoor sports, and cooking breakfast. Her academic interests lie within the realm of economic integration and its relationship to the social and economic development in developing countries.

Nicole Deville
Nicole is a sophomore majoring in International Relations and working on the pre-medicine track. Nicole grew up in both Hawaii and on Guam. In high school, she was involved in a number service-based organizations, such as Red Cross Club, Institute of Human Services and Hawaii Humane Society, and was introduced to Rotaract her freshman year at Stanford. She hopes to pursue a career related to International Health and believes that her involvement with Rotaract will help her achieve this goal.

Silvia Console Battilana, Past President, Co-founder
Silvia Console Battilana is currently a visiting scholar who obtained her PhD in Economics in 2007. She co-founded three companies, and is extremely active in the Silicon Valley. She is from Italy, enjoys beach volleyball, waterpolo and skiing, as well as traveling in underdeveloped countries. She originally started the Rotaract club five years ago, and will be contributing as Professional Development co-Chair. She will ensure that Rotaractors will have the opportunity to mingle with successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and other professionals in the Valley.
Raquel Enad, Professional Development Chair
Racquel Enad is a junior majoring in Human Biology, and Area of Concentration is International Health in Developing Countries. Some of her interests include traveling, adventure, snowboarding, trying new things, cleaning, meeting new people, public service, and staying active in the Stanford community. In past service projects, she has had multiple opportunities to connect and work with Rotarians, and she is excited to share that experience with members of Rotaract this year!
Yuxin Chuah, Professional Development Chair
Yuxin is fan of chocolate and martial arts novels and a Mathematical & Computational Sciences major. An interest in service and international development attracted her to join Rotaract, and she looks forward to working with all of you!

Libby Navarro
Elizabeth Navarro is a sophomore interested in majoring in both Psychology and Communications. This is her second year as a member of Rotaract and she has enjoyed volunteering for events in the community and interacting with Rotarians in the area. Elizabeth was a member of Interact throughout high school and is pleased to be able to continue her Rotary involvement in college through Stanford Rotaract. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys outdoor water sports and baking cupcakes.

Oswaldo Hasbun
Oz is a freshman majoring in Biology with the hopes of becoming a surgeon in the future. He was born in El Salvador and moved to California in late 2001. One of his greatest passions is serving underrepresented and underprivileged communities, especially through provision of pro-bono healthcare in the immediate community and especially on the larger global scale. However, he enjoys doing community service through a variety of means, which is why he became very involved with Interact during high school and is planning on doing so with Rotaract here at Stanford. He loves meeting new people and getting to know different cultures and customs.
