Nick Noone graduated from Stanford in March 2011 with his B.A. in Economics, and his M.S. in Statistics. Nick was a four-time NCAA All-American in his time at Stanford, consistently placing in the top 5 nationally on both Rings and Parallel bars. He competed to help Stanford Gymnastics secure both the 2009 and 2011 NCAA National Championship titles, the latter of which was Stanford’s 100th title in school history. Nick was also a finalist for the 2010 Nissen Emery Award, presented annually to the nation’s top male gymnast. In the academic arena, Nick did extensive work in development economics, spending two years as a Director in a nonprofit microfinance institution, and spearheading an economic development education initiative at Stanford. While obtaining his Masters, he served as a consultant for the Stanford Statistics department, providing assistance in areas including experimental design, model fitting, and time series analysis. At current, Nick is programming applications for the iPhone and writing a book on competitive spirit.
