Outdoor Education Program
Wilderness Skills (GES 7a,b,c) is a sequence of outdoor education courses designed to introduce beginners (autumn and winter) and advanced outdoors-people (spring quarter) to backcountry living and prepare them to make scientific observations in the field. The courses will teach participants to live and travel safely, respectfully, and with open eyes while in the backcountry. The course will include weekly classes as well as four weekend outings.
