Stanford Professor Andrei Linde Celebrates Physics Breakthrough
Assistant Professor Chao-Lin Kuo, right (Stanford/HEPL and SLAC), delivers the exciting news of data collected and analyzed by the BICEP2 experiment at the South Pole Keck Observatory supporting cosmic inflation theory to Stanford Professor Andrei Linde, the physicist who developed the theory. To celebrate this breakthrough, Kuo brought Linde and his wife a bottle of champaigne for a toast to this extraordinary discovery.
