Fire on Fire V

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

Success!!! We represented succesfully both in quality, quantity serving Kebabs, steaks and salad for over 4 hours, as well as general entertainment being probably the loudest grill of them all. Frequented by visits from the Beer providing societies (German / Belgian) we were too often asked to negotiate the price of Beer in kebabs! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to having you at our next event!

A special thanks to our master chef / cook under whose instruction it was all made possible and all that contributed!

Πάσχα 2011 - Easter 2011

Friday, April 29th, 2011
Χρόνια Πολλά! We hope you enjoyed Easter as much as we did! We would like to thank you all for the coming and honoring our event! Beyond the usual jokes about when the lambs are ready, if we have enough charcoal we also learned at the end of the set up that the spit supports would hold even in case of an earthquake!

What it takes to roast the lamb, risking lives, rain or shine food must be on time!

Easter Celebrations Recap

Monday, April 5th, 2010

On Sunday April 4th we celebrated the Greek Orthodox Easter by roasting the traditional lamb, eating red eggs as well as various other foods and desserts. Following tradition, this was preceded by the “Magiritsa” event after the midnight liturgy, which started at 1:00am on Sunday midnight.

We were happy to celebrate with a large group which consisted of not only G

reek students at Stanford, but also Greeks from the wider area. We also had visitors from Los Angeles and Santa Barbara who had heard about this celebration each year!

Although the weather was rainy and cold, this event was a great success. We hope that next year’s event is as successful.
