I am part of the FRG team working on the development of a high-fidelity multidisciplinary computational framework for parachute inflation dynamics and drag prediction
in the supersonic flow regime. My current focus is on computational geometry aspects of the problem. The main application is the deceleration of a spacecraft
from the high speed of atmospheric entry to the final stages of landing on Mars.
