My research dealt with direct and inverse problems related to Underwater Acoustics. In particular, I developed computational technologies
for the solution of transient acoustic wave problems on Linux clusters. I also developed a fast algorithm for underwater imaging and demonstrated its potential
for the detection and identification of underwater intruders.
