I am part of the FRG team working on the development of a high-fidelity multidisciplinary computational framework for parachute inflation dynamics and drag prediction
in the supersonic flow regime. My focus is on a multiscale model of the parachute fabric with thermal effects. The main application is the deceleration of a spacecraft
from the high speed of atmospheric entry to the final stages of landing on Mars.
