Research Statement:

I was interested in PDE-constrained optimization, model reduction, surrogate-based optimization, iterative solvers for sparse linear systems, computational fluid dynamics, and computational structural mechanics. I worked on model reduction-based solvers for two different problem types: real-time nonlinear simulation and repeated analyses problems. These methods have been applied to the rapid design modification of Formula 1 cars and design optimization of aerospace vehicles.
