They contacted us to see if it's ok to use Stanford ESW as the connection to the National ESW chapter.

we need more info in order to make a decision, and he responded with a draft.
we need to be careful to take on a project that's not well formed.
one of them is willing to be a temporary leader but it seems like they are looking for others to take over the project for them.

how was the student interest? about 8 students

we need a student leader to step forward and commit. Once we have that we can get behind it.

telecon tomorrow, more infor to follow

Mexican one postponed until mid or late february.

ideas?
- movie? in UN film festival?
- speaker? Oaxaca specific would be nice (M will email a potential speaker, and friend in cultural center)
- dance instruction? (H will ask friend about dance session)

city of Palo Alto is looking at new composting methods. They had the public proposing new techniques.

who does composting?

composting may not be connected enough to the conference theme
