SPEAKER
ESW will host D.light and Ashoka Fellow Anil Chitrakar on May 1st, at 6pm, with dinner provided. The event will feature a case study comparison, and delve into Anil Chitrakar's lengthy experience in social entrepreneurship abroad. (Grace confirmed; someone to help supply dinner)
WORKSHOP/SPEAKER
Plans to contact Jacobsen, other speakers who can talk broadly about biofuel implementations – expose the concerns with ethanol from the standpoints of carbon footprint, health concerns! Flesh out the "branchOut" section on our website – add cool links and organize them in a good fashion? Maybe NGOs/NPOs…organizations on campus, even job listings. (Whit)
WATER FILTER PROJECT IN GUATEMALA
Email Tom Abeles with clear layout of what ESW can provide in terms of 'consulting/research' services, and time discontinuity given looming summer break ahead. Define one objective that ESW can help with. (Karim)
- FUNDING –draft cover letters and budget proposals (Grace and Heather)
- ADOBE CONFERENCE – confirm participants, help provide idea of travel required, etc, and outline costs for ESW and for participants (Eric H)
