- Why do I get logged out sometimes?
- There is a timeout on sessions, which is rather short. This seems to be in the Stanford Perl installation, we're trying to figure out how set parameters for it. In the meantime, accepting to save your login information on your computer will work (check box when you log in), but don't forget to explicitely log out when you're done, especially if you're on a public machine. --Kristof 20:56, 4 February 2007 (PST)
- Why do I get the error "Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in." when I hit the "Save page" button?
- Don't know, but it seems that selecting "Show preview" first, and then "Save page" without making any edits in between is a sucessfull workaround. You don't actually have to log out. --Kristof 21:06, 4 February 2007 (PST)
