Frequently asked questions

What's the best way to contact you?
Send us an email as described on the contact page, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible (typically just a few days). Our office hours are held in the basement of the Huang building outside of the ICME lobby.

How much would this cost?
We serve as a free service for all members of the extended Stanford community. Should you wish our services as an individual outside this network, compensation is negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on the exact details of the project.

Will you write my code?
No, we will not write or debug programs for your research. While we will occasionally write some snippets of code to assist ourselves in answering a question, we do not intend to take the role of programmers.

Can you help me with coursework for class X?
No, we do not assist with coursework.

How can I get involved as a student at Stanford?
Graduate students at Stanford can take Computational Consulting by enrolling in CME 444. For more information about what is expected of students participating for credit please contact Margot Gerritsen.
Students can also participate without receiving credit. Please contact us for more information concerning this.
