Molecular Imaging could allow in vivo investigation of biomedical reactions, which is useful in both drug development and clinical studies. Molecular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (mMRI) shows a high potential in this field due to high anatomical resolution. Current research in mMRI focus on the design of contrast agents, but not much address on the related pulse sequences. Yen-Hsiang’s research interest is to find out a new mMRI method by both optimizing contrast agents and its pulse sequence. Developing fast imaging techniques used for hyperpolarized Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy would be a suitable beginning for him to understand the underlying methodology.
