border

All students are welcome to our events, regardless of religious affiliation or experience.

This year, we are offering the following activities: daily morning and afternoon meditation, a "Practical Introduction to Meditation" class on Tuesday evenings", lectures co-sponsored with the Ho Center for Buddhist Studies at Stanford, plus field trips and hikes!

Morning Meditation
Monday to Friday from 7:55 - 8:30 am in the Sanctuary of the 3rd floor of the Old Union (the CIRCLE), a couple of doors down from our office/altar/library in room 311.

Afternoon Meditation

Monday-Thursday 5:25-6:00pm and Friday 4-4:30pm in the Sanctuary (see above for details).

For all of the meditations, guidance will be available if the people in attendance request it.

Practical Introduction to Meditation class

Tuesdays 7:30-8:45pm in the Sanctuary (starts October 6th, 2009).

In this class, we'll explore the scope of Buddhist meditation through a variety of lenses, including short readings, guided meditations, group discussions and guest lecturers.
