Ewoud de Groot |
I was Born in Alkmaar, the Netherlands in 1969. In 1991, after working as a fishing guide in Alaska and several places in Europe, I enrolled in the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen, the Netherlands. After five years of study, I received degrees in illustration and oil painting, and in 1996 began work as an illustrator for Vogels (Birds), the magazine of the Dutch Society for the Protection of Birds. I have illustrated many books about nature, but now spend more time as an independent painter. |
