Tom
Antonishak |
Tom Antonishak worked for several years as a commercial artist, eventually opening his own graphic design studio. He was drawn to wildlife and has produced many award-winning studies. His most notable awards have been the Arts for the Parks National Park grand prize in 1993, and Christies of London, England Wildlife Sale of 1996 and 1997. He feels wildlife is the most exciting subject to paint because'It challenges you to research your subject and to learn the animals habitat.' This is how Antonishak brings the viewers attention to the wonder and beauty of nature and how fragile it is becoming. |
