            Watch the positioning of your hands during blocks; check your stances; practice your poomse more.  Good basic movements; put more snap into your techniques; your knifehand needs work; your fist should be closed and tighter.  Make your arms and feet work together; speed up your forms a bit; chamber near your ear in sa jang; keep your concentration!  Add more power and crispness in blocks and punches; chamber your fist farther back at the side, and keep your wrist straight; try for a deeper back stance; keep your back leg straight in front stance; learn crossed stance properly.

Sparring

            Use your right leg, too!; turn your hips over when kicking.  Use strategy to get good scoring opportunities; don’t throw kicks unless you think they can score.  Good range on your kicks.  Good extension on kicks; work on distance; improve endurance while sparring.

            Good kicks.  Great energy; avoid momentary hesitation when doing kicks (crossing side kick and spin step/axe kick combo, etc.).  Good form on side kick; but make side kick faster.

            Very nice basics, but they definitely need some fine tuning; ask more questions; work with black belts on your sparring.  Good counters; don’t square up too much.  Good sparring sense.  Good footwork, counter-attacks; excellent energy and power; good punches and speed of kicks.

            Your back kicks need to be straight and higher; roundhouse kicks need to go across, and not up.  On roundhouse kick, kick across and not upwards; a naraban should kick across, not be a front kick; for side kicks, shoot your leg out quickly and straight; on back kick, kick in a straight line with your toes more downwards.  Good form on side kicks; but make your side kick faster and harder; fully extend your back kick.

Sparring

            Use angles on the taller guys; must throw combos; way to be aggressive in sparring Audrey—very nice!  Work on getting out of the way; aim your kicks, don’t throw them in the air.  Watch your stances when sparring—don’t square to your opponent; good double kicks.
