Purpose of AIM

AIM is a continuous learning community of industrial professionals, academics, and students passionate about the making of real things that improve people's lives.

It is a joint venture between multinational corporations with a significant design and manufacturing presence in the United States and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and School of Engineering.

AIM functions as a "Manufacturing Knowledge Broker" to increase the "intellectual capital" of each of its members.
