The Stanford Bulletin: Courses and DegreesOn This PageOther Stanford Bulletin PagesThe Stanford Bulletin is an annual publication of the Office of the University Registrar which outlines University policies, and all courses and degree requirements for the Schools of Earth Sciences, Education, Engineering, and Humanities and Sciences, as well as non-M.D. degree programs and courses in the School of Medicine and courses in the School of Law which are available to non-Law undergraduates and graduate students. The Bulletin is published in late August every year. The online version of the Stanford Bulletin is in pdf format, organized by section or school, and then by department.
Note: department and other web sites should link to the relevant pdfs in this folder so that the link remains up-to-date from year to year. On-Campus DistributionFaculty, students, and staff may pick up a Bulletin in the lobby of the Registrar's Office at 630 Serra Street, Suite 120; you must show a valid Stanford ID. Ordering a BulletinThe Registrar's Office is not able to mail Bulletins to off-campus locations. The Stanford Bulletin may be purchased from the Stanford Bookstore. To receive the Bulletin via UPS Ground (U.S. only), send a check or money order to the Stanford Bookstore, 519 Lasuen Mall, Stanford, California 94305-3079; include $8.00 for the Bulletin and $5.95 for shipping and your respective state’s sales tax. California residents send a check or money order for $14.61 (includes state sales tax). For international and credit card purchases, call (800) 533-2670 or go to http://stanfordbookstore.com, click on the “Apparel and Gifts” link in the left hand red speed bar, then click on “Gifts & Accessories”, then click on “Books & Publications”. Stanford University Libraries Bulletin ArchiveThe Stanford University Libraries have created a complete electronic archive in .pdf format of all old Bulletins. Those seeking reprints from Bulletins prior to 2000-01 should click here for the University Publications home page and navigate to "Courses and Degrees" or "Stanford Bulletin": click on Browse, then click on Title. Alumni seeking course descriptions may use the method above, or may send email to arod@stanford.edu specifying the year, term, subject, catalog number, and title of the course(s) for which they need a reprinted description; please include a fax number or snail mail address. Please allow us at least a week to process your request. |
