Lending Library Instructions

The Learning and Development (L&D) Library offers a selection of professional development videos and DVD’s. Borrowing selections from our library is limited to Stanford University Departments only.

HOW TO BORROW MATERIALS

Step 1:  Review our list of videos and DVDs. 

Step 2:  Email our department and let us know the title(s) of Video/DVD you wish to check out.  Send emails to Keith Chrestman, L&D Training Coordinator, at kchrestman@stanford.edu.

Step 3:  You’ll receive email notification if the item is available and when it will be ready to pick up.

Step 4:  Come by our office to pick up your selection. Unfortunately, we are not able to put your selections in the mail. (Items may be too large to mail and/or too difficult to track.)

FAQs

Where Do I Pick Up and Return My Video/DVD?
Learning & Development, 215 Panama Street, Poplar Modular, during the hours of 9am – 4pm Monday through Friday.  Do not mail items back.

How Long May I Keep a Video/DVD?*
We check out materials for a 2 week period. Please return all materials within a 2 week time.   Notices of overdue video/DVD’s will be e-mailed.

How Many Items Can I Check Out At a Time?
You can check out up to three items for a 2 week period.

May I Renew My Video/DVD?
You may renew your video/DVD’s by phone, (650) 723-4635, or send e-mail to: kchrestman@stanford.edu
