Welcome to the COMPASS Career Counseling Network (CCN) Program
The purpose of the COMPASS Career Counselor Network (CCN) program is to:
- provide services that help to increase staff retention and career mobility at Stanford, i.e. career counseling
- provide staff with the opportunity to receive individual assistance with their career development by working with independent, confidential career counselors
Eligible staff can use up to $400 of their STAP funds each fiscal year without supervisory approval to see one of the CCN counselors. You can use the career counseling services any time, and you set up the appointment with the counselor of your choice directly.
Eligibility
Stanford staff who are benefits eligible can consult with a CCN counselor at the CCN rate of $80/hour and can use up to $400 of their STAP funds to pay for these sessions each fiscal year. Note:
- Immediate family members of a Stanford staffer (i.e. dependents, spouse or domestic partner) may also see the counselor at the discounted CCN rate, but will need to pay the counselor directly. There is no STAP reimbursement for family members seeing a CCN counselor.
