For many students and families, educational loans are a necessary part of the process of paying for college. The Financial Aid Office offers and certifies the loans below for students, as well as federal Parent PLUS loans for parents of undergraduates. All of these loan programs offer low interest rates, deferment and forbearance options, and a maximum repayment period between 10 and 25 years.

In mid-August, students will receive email messages indicating that they can accept or decline their student loan eligibility for the 2008-2009 academic year in Axess. Students who accept loan eligibility will then receive instructions for completing their online loan applications and promissory notes, if needed. Students do not need to take any action prior to mid-August to secure their loan funds for 2008-2009.

Parents of undergraduate students who want to request PLUS loans for academic year 2008-2009 should wait until after July 1, 2008, to submit an online PLUS loan request using the link below.
