Write a post explaining why you're taking the class, and telling everyone else something about your language and food backgrounds.
Write a post that includes something about menu language,
dish-names, waiter language, or food names. For menus
you should be able to find interesting stuff
on the web! If you speak a second language, see what
you can say that's interesting about menus in that language!
Or looking at some English-language menus is fine if you can find
some interesting facts about the language to talk about!
Or for food names or waiter language, see what you can find that's
interesting! Remember to do the reading for the week before writing your post,
and try to relate your post to the readings!
