I am a graduate student studying EE and skilled in electronics and coding. Hence, I would prefer a project that has an electrical component. Additionally, I have previous project experience, including design, presentation, writing, etc.

ME major, Product realization concentration, been machining/fabricating since middle school. Taking ME 170 and 210 this quarter so pretty booked. Enjoy public speaking and passionate about assistive technology.

I've taken ME101 and ME115A so I have experience with prototyping. I did an independent study with David Kelly last quarter where my team created a sustainable tampon carrier case and system. I don't have much experience with CAD or making renderings but I am more than willing to learn any new skills that will add to our project!! I'm not taking a heavy course load this quarter so I don't expect any time commitment problems (I am however on the Womens Rowing Team). I have also worked on a project with 3rd Street Youth Centre through a Haas Centre class so I have experience in the social aspect for these projects :)

I am a senior/coterm in mechanical engineering, concentrating in product realization. I have experience in CAD, manufacturing, fabrication, presentation, and report writing, and I have taken the classes ME 170A/B, ME 102, ME 103, ME 104, ME 127, ME 129.

I've taken ME102, 103, 104, 127 to learn about prototyping and material choices. I also go to the PRL often to learn about the processes available. I like making powerpoint presentations and my report writing is alright. I'll be very stressed this quarter with my course load and performances. I really want to make/modify devices that will improve people's quality of life.

I have a lot of experience with rapid prototyping such as laser cutting, 3D printing (FDM, SLA), and hand tools. I also have some experience with a lathe and mill and have a lot of experience with mechatronics/electronics related projects. I have experience programming microcontrollers, and programming in Python, embedded C, and C++. As a ME with a focus in robotics, I have worked on several projects designing and programming robotic systems. I am taking another project class this quarter and doing research as well but I will be able to dedicate at least 5-10 hrs/week to this project.

I am a senior ME major with solid experience in product design and empathizing with users in the design process. I'm currently a computer science student focusing on human-computer interaction. Most of my past experience has come through software projects and product management. I'm more well-versed in coding, presenting, and report writing. I have limited experience in fabrication (to the extent of intro electrical engineering classes). I should have 4-6 hours per week to dedicate to the project. Super passionate about this space and have taken another course in assistive technology previously!

I'm trained in design thinking. I'm familiar with Cura, 3D printing, laser cutting, and 2d model designing. I'm good at presentations and report writing. I have two jobs, am taking roughly 15 units, and possibly doing an honors thesis. I'm also producing a show this quarter. I'm a senior working on graduating and job searching. Regardless, I always have a lot going on but I'm down to give all the time needed for this project.

Senior in mechanical engineering, ME 102, ME 103 are some of the classes I have taken. IN terms of skills i would say average. My quarter is a bit busy but I can definitely allocate the average 5 hour input required.

I do not have experience in fabrication. My strengths better lie in design, research, writing and presentation skills. I am very excited for this opportunity to learn about assistive technology because I have a personal friend who recently suffered a traumatic brain injury and his lifestyle has undergone major changes.This class is an amazing chance to see how I can help my friend and others with disabilities. I am currently in indoor track season and am scheduled to miss 2 class sessions only. I have meets every other weekend and my course-load is manageable so I will be able to meet when needed.

In terms of design classes, I have taken ME101, 102, 103, 104, 127, 129. This means I am very familiar with the PRL and can operate a CNC, Mill, Lathe, Laser Cutter, 3D printer. I can weld, solder, CAD. I am not very familiar with integrating electronics into my designs. I have had an internship is food robotics too, where I focused mainly on CAD and assembly. I am fine with presentations. Not a huge fan of public speaking, but can do it. I am fairly free this quarter. The only other time consuming class I am in is ME216b (senior capstone). I have interacted with many people with disabilities who had wheel chairs and autism. As such, I would say I have more of a sensibility towards those demographics, but I don't have too much experience with interaction nor designing for people with disabilities or older adults.

I have a lot of expertise working in presentation and report writing. I have the availability/flexibility in my schedule to work on this and am good friends with my group members which I think will allow for us to meet easily! I also am very passionate about advocating to protect student athletes from medical discrimination. I am VERY passionate about social impact and non-profit work and recently founded a non profit that gives free EKGs to youth athletes. My mom was also diagnosed with cerebal palsy last year, so being able to help Danny may be able to help my mom one day as well! I know that Sasha and Darren are both incredible ME majors, so I think our skills really compliment each other!

My degree is in mechanical engineering but I am also impassioned by the environmental sciences. I'd say I'm decently capable in product fabrication and I am comfortable presenting. This is a heavy quarter for me but I contribute to the best of my abilities!

I am an ME Coterm/CS major student who has completed ME102/103/104/127 so I have experience with casting, 3d printing, rapid prototyping, and CAD/analysis/simulation. I also have experience with programming, “smart” product integration and robotics as well as 3d animation. My M/W/F are mostly open, but have almost no availability T/Th. I am a junior majoring in STS. I do not much engineering skills but I have great research, writing and presentation skills. I have 5-10 hours a week to commit to the process. I am open to working with many different types of people with disabilities but I have specific interest in people with learning disabilities, disabled people in sports, and disabled people who use service animals. I am also a psych minor so mental and neurological disabilities interest me too.

I have experience in presentation and report writing throughout high school and college. However, I do not have much experience with fabrication. I am taking a lighter course load this quarter and am excited to produce work that will benefit people with disabilities and older adults.

I'm very creative and enjoying working with my hands. In high school, I took an engineering class in high school where I build projects out of wood and cement. I am an STS major. I have expertise in presentations, research, writing, art, design, and hands on work. I'm creative and innovative, doing many projects that require creative thinking. Most of my project experiences come from creating marketing strategies and inventing product designs.
