Call for
Assistive Technology Faire Participants
This event - scheduled for
Thursday, February 4th - will provide an
opportunity for students and community members to get an up-close look at a
variety of assistive technology devices and learn about available
services.
Users of assistive technology products
as well as small companies and agencies serving individuals with disabilities
and older adults are encouraged to bring assistive technology devices to
display, demonstrate, and discuss.
Tables and power will be provided for
participants outside the Thornton Center
classroom during the scheduled class time. (Please note that only a few
tables are available, so bring you own if you can.)
If you are a vendor of assistive
technology products or supply assistive technology services and would like to
participate, please contact me and submit the following information for the
Faire webpage:
- Name of the assistive technology
device(s)
- Photo of the assistive technology
device(s)

- Encourage students and community
members to try the device.
- Anticipate cool weather, so dress
warmly.
Please note that this is meant to be an
