Call for Team Project Suggestion Renewal One of the most important course elements is the student projects. As an individual who has suggested a student project, your past involvement is appreciated and your continued assistance this year would be most welcomed. The purpose of this solicitation is four-fold:
1) You can find the description for your project suggestion(s) here. 2) Please review the description(s) and let me know if you would like me to edit it, delete this project, or renew the project as-is for this coming year's class starting in January. 3) You are most welcome to suggest additional project ideas. If you do have some, please review Call for Team Project Suggestions for project requirements and information on how best to describe what you have in mind. All approved projects will be listed on the project webpage and will be printed and disseminated to students on the first day of the class. 4) The entire second class session - "Pitch Day" - will be devoted to introducing and reviewing all the approved student project suggestions.
Suggestors of approved projects 1) may be contacted by students to get more information prior to selection and 2) are expected to offer project advice throughout the quarter. Please confirm your desire and availability to interact with a student team who might want to work on the project. This is an excellent opportunity to have bright students work on team projects that address long-standing problems experienced by people with disabilities and older adults. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about projects or the course. Thank you once more for your project ideas and course involvement.
