Stanford students may enroll in EE380 to take the Colloquium as a one unit S/NC class.

Enrolled students are required to keep and electronic notebook or journal and to write a short, pithy comment about each of the lectures and a short free form evaluation of the class in order to receive credit. These need not be long essays, just a paragraph or two. If you researched the topic, please include URLs for short annotations for a reference or two you found interesting.

When you write your evaluation, let us know your overall impression of the course. Was it too technical or too simple? Were the topics appropriate? What speakers were the most significant for you. Is the weeklly Colloquium still an important way of introducing new ideas? Is there someone we should invite to speak? Is there a topic which has been neglected?

Assignments are due at the end of the quarter, on the last day of examinations and should be submitted by electronic mail to allison@stanford.edu.
