If you are fascinated by this talk and/or sailing in general,
you may want to look into the Stanford Yacht Research group (http://syr.stanford.edu) begun last
year (2002) by Professor
Margot Gerritsen. The Stanford Yacht Research Group is made up
of sailing enthusiasts from ME, CTR, AA, and Petroleum Engineering.
The group is very active in sail flow analysis, sail shape optimization
and experimental sail flow dynamics.
