• Tue, Apr 13: If you look in the navigation bar on the left, you'll see a new link called Assessment Prep. If you drill into that link, you're arrived at the collection of resources you should review before this weekend's first self-assessment. Virtually all of it is a rehsh of what was shared in the CS110 Course Information distributed the first day of the quarter, though one breaking news item is that we'll be relying on Gradescope to administer the self-assessment, which will feel like much like a concept check, except that you need to finish within three hours of opening it, and we don't show you the answers when you get them right 😇 . The Assessment Prep page also presents a collection of filesystem-related exam problems Chris Gregg, Nick Troccoli, and I have given in prior quarters.

  • Speaking of self-assessment preparation, Stanford Women in Computer Science (WiCS) is holding a study night for CS 110 and a few other CS classes on Thursday, April 15 at 5PM PST. They'll be providing you all with a casual space to study with your peers before your upcoming midterm and raffling off a few gift cards. The event is open to everyone, and you can join by visiting their Nooks space right here.
