CS110 alum Neel Rao is now a coterm in Symbolic Systems and doing learning science research for which he's building, in his own words, NLP models "to evaluate whether learning goals are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound—studies like this one have shown this makes learning goals more effective)." According to this research, simply writing down your learning goals ahead of a class has been shown to increase performance! Who knew?

Neel was hopefuly that some current CS110 students might be willing to submit their own learning goals by completing this very short survey. All submissions are anonymous (Google won't share you email address even though it itself requires you be logged in), and it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes of your time to participate.
