In the Broken World: Tales of Las Bellotas is
a short story collection by Brian Kunde, published as a chapbook by Fleabonnet Press in
December, 2009. These tales represent three chapters from two larger works with the working titles of
Between Lives and Squirrel's Children which may or may not eventually see print as a whole. They share with
Kit and Lily,
Sturgis Antelope,
Two Tales from Squirrel’s Children,
Shell Town Noir and
A Las Bellotas Triptych
the background setting of the fictional town of Las Bellotas.
This Internet sampler comprises the table of contents of the chapbook and excerpts
from the stories.
